The auction includes 15 items of various products with a total base price of Q411 thousand 222.73 and will be held on September 8.The Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT) published this Thursday, August 25, in the Diario de Centro América the public customs auction GRS-03-2022 of the Puerto Quetzal Customs, which consists of 15 items of different merchandise, including a truck, containers , refrigerators, stoves, freezers and wooden tables and chairs for the dining room, with a total base price of Q411 thousand 222.73.The SAT reported that the auction is scheduled for September 8 at 9 am in the hall of the Quetzal Port Company, in the Puerta de Hierro village, Puerto San José, Escuintla.He explained that if the auction is not completed on the appointed day, it will continue the next business day at the same place and time.On September 5, 6 and 7, 2022, at the Puerto Quetzal Customs facilities in the Temporary Customs Warehouses of the Quetzal Port Company and APM Terminals Quetzal, the merchandise and vehicles to be auctioned will be on view for interested parties;Hours will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.In the aforementioned place, the bases to participate in the auction and the list of merchandise will be given.Also on those dates, on the electronic page of the SAT, there will be photographs of the products subject to auction.To participate as a bidder in the auction, it is essential that the interested parties deposit, by means of a cashier's check payable to the Superintendence of Tax Administration, 25% of the base price of the items that interest them.The SAT highlighted that the bidder who is awarded one or several items of merchandise, must make the total payment corresponding to the sale price, this must be done immediately or no later than the next business day.The delivery of the checks must be made three days prior to the auction event.According to the SAT, the auction is open to competition, with the exception of SAT officials and employees who may not participate directly or indirectly as bidders.He adds that on the day of the auction only registered participants will be able to enter.The items that are not awarded in the auction, may be donated free of taxes and auction expenses to state institutions or public charity that could take advantage of or destroy them.© Copyright 2022 Guatevisión, All Rights Reserved.
